Airport Authority Bill Moves

The bill to reform the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority was approved 3-0 by the Senate Local Government Committee today, and moves now to the Senate Appropriations Committee.

No hearing date has been set there.

Senate Bill 10 would eliminate three positions that pay $150,000 annually on the authority's board and require elected officials -- not appointed members of the public -- to sit on it. Our most recent story is here.
