San Diego County is notifying 84 people who may have been exposed to tuberculosis after a Hoover High School student was diagnosed with the disease.
The San Diego Unified School District said it has sent letters to affected students, teachers and other school staff and is providing testing. Most people exposed to TB do not develop the rare ailment.
