More School Employees Leaving San Diego Unified
Published: Tuesday, June 3, 2008 5:46 PM PDT
Three more high-ranking employees who joined San Diego Unified during the superintendency of Carl Cohn are leaving the district, according to a high-ranking source who spoke on condition of not being identified. All are from Long Beach, Cohn's previous district, underscoring the staff turnover that is coming as Superintendent Terry Grier embarks on reorganizing the district.
Executive Director of Secondary School Innovation H.J. Green will leave at the end of June, as will General Counsel Ted Buckley. Associate Superintendent Dorothy Harper is expected to leave before the next school year begins.
Three other administrators were confirmed to be leaving late last week: Communications Director Ursula Kroemer, who has already left, Pete Iverson, chief business officer and interim executive director of facilities, who will be leaving in December, and area superintendent Karen Frison.
