Tevlin Wooed
Published: Thursday, June 5, 2008 5:38 PM PDT
I just learned that the state of California is trying to cherry-pick Andrea Tevlin, San Diego's independent budget analyst.
A recruiter recently contacted Tevlin about taking over as the state's legislative analyst. Liz Hill, who has held the influential job for 22 years, is retiring at the end of this year's legislative session.
Tevlin acknowledged she received a call from a recruiter, but did not want to comment further.
