Another Stock Drop for NCT Parent

Published: Monday, November 24, 2008 3:58 PM PST

As I pointed out in my story today, if you'd invested $1,000 in Lee Enterprises, the parent company of the North County Times, at the stock's peak in 2004, it would have been worth $29 on Friday.

And if you invested $1,000 in Lee on Friday, it'd be worth $845 today. On a day when most stocks rose, Lee dropped 15 percent -- from its $1.42 Friday close to today's close at $1.20.
